How the auctions work
Earn Points:
Accumulate points by
Completing quests.
Referring new users.
Participating in community campaigns.
Place Bids: Each week, bid your points to claim tokens. Bidding opens every Monday at 00:00 CET and closes on Sunday between 23:45 and 23:59 CET.
Auction Results:
Winners get tokens at the clearing price. We’ll define how we select auctions winners and set the clearing price in the next section.
Losers keep their points and earn bonus points for next time.
4. Manage token
Once you win tokens, you have two options:
Option 1: Claim Tokens Immediately
If you need your tokens right away, you can claim them immediately. However, 50% of the tokens will be burned, balancing individual gains with the ecosystem's long-term value.
Example: If you won 10,000 ANI, you’ll receive 5,000 tokens while the other 5,000 are burned.
Option 2: Stake tokens for maximum benefits
Staking lets you collect 100% of your tokens with no burn. Plus, it comes with additional benefits:
Earn Yields in ANI: Generate more $ANI over time based on your staked amount.
Gain Partner Tokens: Receive bonus tokens from Anima's ecosystem partners.
Determining auction winners and clearing price
This is where it gets important. The clearing price is the lowest price at which all 88,888 tokens can be distributed for that week.
Here’s how it works:
Once all bids are submitted, we rank them from highest to lowest based on how many points each user is willing to spend per token.
We start allocating tokens to the highest bidders, and keep going down the list until all 88,888 tokens are distributed.
The last bid that fills the remaining tokens sets the clearing price. It's the price of the last token that sets the value of the clearing price. Every winning bidder pays this same price, no matter how high their original bid was.
Key rules to remember
One Bid per Auction: Adjust up to 3 times during the week.
Confidential Bidding: Keep your strategy private.
Token Limits: No user can claim more than 26,666 tokens in a single auction to ensure fairness.
Unclaimed Tokens: If not enough bids are placed to distribute all 88,888 tokens, the remaining tokens go back to the community treasury and will be reallocated during future events.
Clearing price visibility : You won’t know the clearing price until the auction wraps up.
Who wins at the same clearing price : When multiple users hit the same clearing price, speed matters. The user who placed their bid first gets priority for token allocation. Timing is everything. If you have modified your bid, the time of your last bid is taken into account.
